St. John the Baptist Parish (San Juan Bautista), the oldest church in the province of Bulacan is found in the town of Calumpit built under the supervision of the Augustinian friars in 1572.
San Juan Bautista, the town's patron saint, celebrates its feast day every 24th of June where fluvial floats sail on Calumpit River which Kalumpiteños called 'libad'.
